All of the classic cartoon characters from Looney Tunes and the like deserve an upgrade, don’t you think? Like, a real, full-blown 3D movie or something like that. (Talking of which, you should check out the new trailer of the upcoming 3D Tom & Jerry movie.) And to make it even "more" real than just 3D, it would be nice to add a few wrinkles in there, too. You know, some true-to-life elements, like Winnie the Pooh being a savvy businessman or Tom & Jerry becoming smokers.
To burst some air into the flames of your imagination, Gal Yosef is already on a mission to make it happen. He made his own impressively realistic 3D renders of cartoon characters that look like something mentioned above. It started out as an “Iconic series, Vol.1" collection of Bugs Bunny, Winnie The Pooh, Donald Duck, and Tweety, but it spun out into crossovers, pop reference clashes, and more. I know, it's confusing, but you can keep track of it all on the links below.
Gal Yosef is a special kind of talent. He has been creating 3D renders on Maya and zBrush since he was only thirteen! You heard that right. He says that one of his favorite subjects is making 3D renders of cartoon characters, like the ones you see today, so it’s no wonder why the quality of these 3D renders is so staggering. He’s so talented that he managed to found his own studio, Fuzion, located in the heart of Rishon LeZion, Israel’s fourth-largest city. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors!
