If you haven't had breakfast, lunch, or dinner yet, we advise you to get a snack before you delve into this article because Fashion Life is back with Etoni Mama! This Japanese woman became a master at turning food into works of art that are almost too cute to be eaten.
Etoni Mama started creating dishes with fun and playful details to make it look more appetizing for her 3 lucky children (a 13-year-old, 11-year-old, and 9-year-old daughter). The woman revealed that the food she makes for her kids should not only look good but be delicious as well, and watching these photos we are sure that her creations tick all the boxes.
Has your mouth started watering yet? Have a look at these delicious works of art. If these images won't quench your hunger, check out the previous article featuring Etoni Mama's cute meals by clicking here.

Etoni Mama revealed to Fashion Life that she used to work for a big company for about 20 years, but she found it difficult to raise children while working full-time, so she got a qualification as a childcare worker. Now she is a part-time nursery teacher.
"I started making artsy food in order to interest my second daughter, who has an unbalanced diet, and that was the reason I started making such dishes."
Etoni Mama has mastered the art of kyaraben (character bento), which is the practice of decorating food to look like popular personas, animals, people and plants. In her creations, one can find Woody from Toy Story, Minions, Nemo and many more well-known and lovable characters.
The mad chicken from Moana! [Edit: As informed by my fellow pandas in the comment section below, that mad chicken is called Hei Hei]
To our surprise, Etoni Mama spends around one hour making and decorating one meal. This proves the incredible skills and experience Etoni has gained through the years preparing food for her children. The woman admitted that if she is not that busy with other activities she can spend more time improving the appearance of her meals.
Etoni finds inspiration just by looking at the ingredients. She comes up with a character for her meals depending on what kind of products she has. From the little mermaid to Mr. Potato Head from Toy Story, the woman can craft pretty much any character. However, the taste of the food still remains the most important thing.
Doesn't matter how incredible these meals look, Etoni shared that her children are already used to them. Sometimes they don't even spare some critique if they don't like something about the dishes.
Etoni revealed that her goal is to make kids eat a lot, even when they are grown-ups. We could only wonder what she will be preparing for her grandkids!
Etoni's love for this interesting craft has resulted in her not only sharing playful and delicious creations with her kids but also with other people. Right now, she has 180,000 followers on Instagram who cannot hide their appreciation and admiration of Etoni's skills.
The woman has also released a cooking book in which she shares her knowledge on how to make ordinary meals look playful and more appetizing. A real life-saver for other parents!

Who has time to cook like this for their kids? Some of these creations look like they would take hours and hours to pull off.

Seriously impressive but wondering if some of the food gets cold while decorating.
Thought the same --- Kids: "Mama can we have hot food?" Mom: "We have hot food at home!" Hot food at home: (see above).
Most items are pre-made before meal times that's all. Kept warm.
Maybe she does all the intricate work before hand. And the puts it on the hot food
She definitely needs to consider a career in food design and/or styling because she has incredible talent.

I make more then $12,000 a month online. It’s enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 11 to 12 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it…GOOD LUCK.. ===))> 𝐖𝐰𝐰.𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝟐.𝐂𝐨𝐦
And then there's me who's like "here's your Lunchable , I got the good one with Oreos " lmfao
Leslie Burleson, that's hilarious! 🤣
i usually find that kind of thing very cute but this is another level !! it looks extremely good too. i got very hungry looking at this post. lucky kids !!
So no one's gonna talk about how the kids are gonna be traumatized having to eat their favorite movie characters? 🤣
Thoase look incredible but I do wonder where she finds the time. I consider it success if I manage to fix something else but cereal.
I upvote this, and add I think it's awesome she finds time to do something she is obviously passionate about. We all need that, and everyone is different. ...I personally use my "me" time doing anything other than cooking or cleaning, but it takes all types. :)
I like how these are actually made if real food instead of other food posts in BP which are like all stuff that is edible but not real food
For the kids? No. For social media fame. Very talented, but let's be honest.
She does do those for her kids because they were picky, her social media fame is just a plus. Not everything is a conspiracy to get likes...
Yeah nah I agree with you, this wasn't for the kids this was for the all mighty like. If it was just for the kids, why post? Gotta get that fix of validation from strangers.
@Martin, really? You think that's a tragic and pathetic way to live? She's obviously enjoying doing something she loves, using creativity, and making delicious meals to boot. I'd say that's the opposite of tragic and pathetic.
You are so jealous lol
You know seeing people do things that you feel is stupid doesn't make you jealous. If she has to come up with crazy elaborate meals to get her kid to eat than....sure ok you do you. The need to post literally everything so people can comment on what you do is stupid and sad.

So true. A tragic way to live. Pathetic really.
Everything looks to good to eat this mom really has a talent
These are truely genius. A real talent she has!
gorgeous... but kids would take twice more time to eat it while it takes you twice more time to prepare it
Why would it take twice the time to eat these?
Very impressive, though I personally don't like my food staring back at me. Probably different for kids.
The only thing that would have made these better is if she had listed some of the main ingredients that she used for each pic. Cuz I'm sitting there scratching my head over a few of them. Very creative
Beautiful art but, "sorry kids, can't help you with your homework. I'm busy making your Brussels Sprouts look like balloons." I'm calling it time wasted.
I'm wondering if she is a stay at home mom. I wish more moms had the opportunity and love of food like this. I love to cook and bake this kind of stuff when my kids were little. Now they are 19 and 16 and eat everything. I mean every single thing. A sure way to get your kids to eat everything is to feed them everything when they are little. Reality for this extent isn't possible though. Shame really.
If I would fill the lunchbox of my son with this highly decorated food, I would need to get up soooooo early, just to make it in time. So very beautiful, yet very time consuming.
They must enjoy eating cold food...
She prepares the detailed parts beforehand and places them on after cooking the majority of the meal, so no, the hot food isn't served cold.
Once in a while: cute. Everyday: not cute at all. A well and full of love preparing food, but it's not so smart to educate your children that this is apparent their norm.
These are amazing, but I wouldn't want to eat them.

You eat what gets put in front of you no matter what it looks like. This nonsense creates false expectations and is yet another example of pampering as opposed to just bringing your children up properly.
I can see you don't get pampered at all. Which is really sad because everyone deserves to be treated with pampering, kindness, and having someone in their life pay attention to not only them but details as well. It takes effort to show those you care about how much you love them. That can be done in so many ways. Saying buckle up and be safe, saying you are proud of them, showing them by cooking a meal, and so many other ways. There's nothing wrong with pampering, loving, showing affection, and doing things for those you love and everyone else you come in contact with. So if no one has showed you or told you today that you are cared about. Let me be the one to tell you I hope you sleep well and your day is good tomorrow. :)
Martin, I do have a grip. A very firm grip on how I'm supposed to be treated and how I am supposed to treat others. There is nothing wrong with being sensitive and sharing how you feel or how you'd like to be treated. It's not a bad thing at all, all though someone turned it into a bad thing. Probably because they wanted away to justify not treating people with dignity and kindness. You know, you calling me a snowflake because I'm calling you out on your bad behavior or attitude towards me. Deflecting is what it is. Let me reassure you that it is not me that is the snowflake in this situation. It's you not being comfortable with feelings, affection, pampering, and treating yourself and others kindly. I definitely have a grip on how to do that and can only hope you eventually learn to do it too. :)
You're just proving it in every comment you make. Very defensive. Anyhow, hope you have a good day.
Your inability to cope with my reaction to this self-serving post about the child's food says a lot more about you than me. Your ludicrous assumption that no one is kind to me or I don't get pampered is so strange. You base that on the fact that I think the post is nonsense. I reiterate, get a grip.
Martin, your judgemental attitude and inability to just live and let live says a lot more about you. You're getting angry and telling Stephanie to "get a grip" over the fact that some woman (who none of us personally know) enjoys making art from food. Nobody forced you to look at this post. It's fine if you don't enjoy it, not everyone will, but that doesn't give you the right to judge and make fun of people who do. And it's possible to bring up children properly while also bringing fun and creativity into their lives. There's nothing wrong with spending extra time to make your children happy.
